New York based residential design consultant Mariana Piedrahita spent her formative years in Paris, Bogota and Miami. Inspired by the unique architecture, cultures and historical aspects of each city, her budding creative impulses ultimately manifested in a passion for interior design, with a natural penchant for the sophisticated style of a world-traveler.

 

After double majoring in psychology and art history at the University of Miami, Mariana moved to New York City where she honed her aesthetic working alongside her Aunt Dina Rothstein and CEO Emmanuelle Vinciguerra as an assistant designer at SuRevolution. Together, they made a name for themselves by creating a line of luxury products with outsourced artisanal materials repurposed from the developing world. Fashion-forward publications such as American Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and others quickly took notice, toting their products as both sustainable and beautiful. Her subsequent position at posh British lifestyle retailer The Conran Shop urged Mariana to pursue her post-graduate degree in interior design at top school NYSID.

 

Today, Mariana enjoys assisting each of her clients as they seek to create spaces that are a visual representation of who they are, while practically adhering with the tenets of their respective lifestyles. She embraces a no-fear dogma of interior design, encouraging her clients to indulge in their own perspective as they together aim to discover, and then implement the client’s own unique aesthetic.

 

Mariana’s flair for turning an impression or idea into an aesthetic reality has led her to work with a variety of clientele. Her unique ability to lend an air of sophisticated nonchalance to any given space is a distinctive mark of her enduring style.
